A man who has been terrorizing Omaha families at libraries for years is accused of committing more lewd acts.

City prosecutor Matt Kuhse says it's deplorable and concerning, and even more concerning that the man he isn't coming to court.

An arrest warrant has been issued in Douglas County court for 31-year-old Nathaniel Dixon for a recent citation of indecent exposure and a second lewd acts offense.

Dixon skipped Monday's appearance for the 2nd time in the last few months.

Police say in May, Dixon exposed himself to a 14-year-old boy at the Metro Community College South Omaha Library.

Prosecutors say in the last two years, Dixon has masturbated in front of people at libraries all across the metro including Creighton, Papillion, Millard, and La Vista.

"There's an individual who is serially exposing himself and engaging in lewd acts in public places — and now it's to children, and I think the public should be aware that this person is out there," said Matt Kuhse, Omaha city prosecutor. "If you see him, call the police because he's got a warrant out for his arrest right now."

Judge Stephanie Hansen set his failure to appear bond at $15,000.

A second lewd acts offense carries an enhanced penalty, and can lead to longer or mandatory jail time. However, there is no state law forcing Dixon to register as a sex offender for his crimes.

Dixon has trial on another exposure case coming up in August.
