Beatrice, Nebraska is a site that will experience total solar eclipse on August 21. The small town is already packed with plans and reservations for the big day.

Lora Young is with the Beatrice Chamber of Commerce. She says the town of 12,000 began preparing for the Eclipse two years ago. While the hotels are sold out,  Residents are getting creative.  Other outlets are open to rentals (without power) like the Gage Country Fair campgrounds and the Beatrice Airport. Diana Smith says she's fielded dozens of calls saying that there are "People who want to fly in and camp out under the wing of the plane."
