The Nebraska Supreme Court has rejected a request by the Douglas County prosecutors for a delay in the Anthony Garcia trial.
Jury selection for the trial will now begin on Monday.
Prosecutors believe that evidence ties a 2013 murder scene in West Omaha to a burglary earlier in the day.
investigators accuse Garcia of killing 11-year-old Thomas hunter and Shirlee Sherman in Sundee in 2008 and Dr. Roger and Mary Brumback in West Omaha in 2013.
