Omaha, Neb. (KMTV) - John Lang's loved Legos and megabricks since he was a kid. But this teens project, anything but child's play.

His goal: build the biggest flag made entirely of the toy bricks. Sixty feet by 30 feet of red, white and blue.

"684,000 bricks total," Lang said.

He's been sorting donated bricks nonstop. And even added some with a sentimental touch to the great American flag project. Bricks signed by families of fallen military and first responders are in the first section.

Why do it? The answer is simple. Because he's proud to be an American.

The building day is set for May 27 at Canfield plaza, and Lang is looking for help,
