A new program that launched earlier this year is making strides in helping improve the lives of Breast Cancer patients.
Project Pink'd kicked off a program called Healing Hearts in June. Through the program, volunteers create chemotherapy, surgical nd radiation kits for distribution to area hospitals, oncology, surgical and radiation centers.
On Sunday, volunteers put together 500 kits at the Onestaff Medical Building.
