Water levels have caused local water district officials some concern.

Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District officials said in a press release Wednesday they would be closing Elkhorn River access points as well as Douglas County parks.

Thursday afternoon, district officials announced Platte River Landing, an access point to the Platte River, is closed as well.

The Elkhorn River campground, however, was open, according to the NRD's press release.
