Portraits of their kids, a logo, your dog... Beauty fans are printing detailed photos onto their nails during their manicures.

Buddy Sims, owner of Vibe Nail Salon, recently bought a nail printer for his business. The printer can print any image, design, or logo on any artificial or natural fingernail. The process takes fifteen minutes, and is pre-programmed with 3,000 designs and each design has 10 color options for a total of 30,000 pre-installed prints, patterns, and colors.

Vibe is also collecting non-perishable items and cash donations for a grand opening on Nov. 5. Proceeds will go to the Open Door Mission. The nonprofit provides hot, nutritious meals, safe shelter, life-changing programs, and preventive services to thousands of people experiencing homelessness each year. Donated items are collected and then distributed to our community's most vulnerable.

"So many of our neighbors need help these days. We are proud to work with and support each one of our drive organizers and supporters. The time, resources and energy they give to help their neediest neighbors proves that we can break the cycle of homelessness and poverty right here, right now in our community," said Candace Gregory, president and CEO ofOpen Door Mission. "We are honored to be the recipient of such generosity."

Sims says they're also accepting financial donations on Nov. 5, which will be donated to Make-A-Wish Nebraska.
