Jays beat UNO thanks to 9th inning homer

Thomas Luevano's two run homer in the top of the 9th help lift the Creighton baseball team to a 7-5 win over UNO on Tuesday at Werner Park. In each of CU's last three wins, the Bluejays have hit a 9th inning home run. 

David Gerber recorded his school-record setting 25th career save as well. The Mavs used eleven pitchers in the contest, which tied for the 4th most for a single game in NCAA history. 

Creighton improved to 22-18 overall & will take on Nebraska on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at TD Ameritrade Park.
