After leading the Oregon Ducks to the Final Four this past season, Nebraska native Dana Altman returned to his home state on Saturday to attend the Doane Coaches' Clinic at Doane University in Crete.

Altman reflected on being back near where he grew up and also mentioned that he still pays attention to Creighton basketball.  Altman coached the Bluejays for 16 years between 1994 and 2010.

"I follow Creighton all the time," said Altman, Creighton's all-time leader in wins as a head coach. " You spend 16 years at a place it's very special."

Altman led the Bluejays to seven trips to the NCAA Tournament during his time in Omaha. The Wilber native posted a 327-176 (.650) record at the helm of Creighton.
