Marcus Foster announced Wednesday that he plans to return to Creighton for the 2017-18 season. This season, Foster averaged 18.2 ppg, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
Foster released this statement regarding his return:
“Coach Mac is a great coach. We have the best fans in the country and the best teammates. There’s no reason not to come back,” Foster said.
Foster is also one of 30 candidates for the Naismith Men's College Player of the Year award and one of five finalists for the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year award. The junior guard was named to the NABC All-District 5 team earlier today.
