Creighton WBB eliminated from the NCAA Tournament

The Creighton women's basketball team couldn't overcome the No. 8 Oregon State Beavers, suffering a 64-52 loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Jays finished the season with a 24-8 record overall and 16-2 in conference play. 

Creighton struggled getting shots to go down, shooting just 36.7 points from the field. Sydney Lamberty was the highlight offensively as she scored 19 points on 8-15 from the field. Lamberty grabbed seven rebounds and added three assists.

Brianna Rollerson was near double-double territory as she tallied 10 points and grabbed nine boards. Three different players were in double figures in scoring for Oregon State. 

Although the season didn't end as the Jays had hoped, Creighton earned the BIG EAST regular-season title and tied head coach Jim Flanery's second most total season wins before earning a seventh seed in the the NCAA Tournament.
