The Big Ten baseball tournament is underway in Bloomington, Indiana with the Huskers set to take on No. 8 seeded Purdue in the first round Wednesday afternoon. The tournament is double elimination with the championship scheduled for Sunday, May 28.
Should the Huskers win, they will take on the winner of No. 4 Maryland and No. 5 Iowa. Nebraska would take on the loser of the same game if they should fall to Purdue.
Earlier this afternoon, No. 3 Minnesota took down No. 4 Indiana 5 to 4. Minnesota will take on the winner of No. 2 Michigan and No. 7 Northwestern.
