The offensive firepower continued Wednesday at the Big Ten Baseball Tournament for Nebraska as the Huskers beat Purdue, 15-9.

NU jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first. After Purdue came back to take a 5-4 lead in the top of the 2nd, the Big Red really began to turn it on.

Nebraska put up seven runs over the next three innings. Omaha Skutt alum Mojo Hagge hit his first collegiate home run with a two run shot to right in the bottom of the 8th. Scott Schreiber also hit a two run bomb in the 8th as well going 2-for-5 on the night with four RBI.

Following the game, Schreiber's teammates had a little fun with the junior outfielder.

Along with his first home run, Hagge also might have robbed Purdue of a homer in the 8th.

Jake Hohensee picked up the win on the mound for NU going six innings giving up six runs while throwing six strikeouts.

The Huskers (35-18-1) will now be back in action Friday at 12:30 p.m. against Iowa. The winner moves on to a Saturday morning game at 9 a.m. while the lose will play again Friday at 7:30 p.m. in an elimination game.
