The Huskers had a two run lead entering the bottom of the 8th inning but blew it allowing four runs in the frame to lose 8-6 Tuesday night at CSU Bakersfield. With the loss, NU's four game winning streak was snapped.

Nebraska closer Chad Luensmann allowed all four runs in the inning. Jake Meyers & Scott Schreiber both went 3-5 at the plate.

The Big Red fell to 9-9 on the season. The Huskers return to action at Cal Poly Thursday for a four game series.
