Our 17 Husker storylines to know for the 2017 Nebraska football season has come down to the final three. And rounding out the top three is the Big Red's options at wide receiver this upcoming campaign.

Three of NU's top four receivers from a season ago are no longer in Lincoln, as Jordan Westerkamp, Brandon Reilly, and Alonzo Moore are all trying to find a home at the professional level.

But Nebraska does return its second-leading wideout from last year in Stanley Morgan Jr.  The junior finished with 33 receptions for 453 yards and two touchdowns in 2016, but after his arrest for marijuana possession back in May, Morgan's status to start this season is uncertain.

One of the more experienced wide receivers coming back in 2017 is senior De'Mornay Pierson-El. The dynamic playmaker totaled 20 grabs for 254 yards last season.

NU will also look to a more inexperienced group of wideouts to carry some of the load in the passing game in 2017. Wide receivers coach Keith Williams' son, Keyan, should factor in after transferring from Fresno State.  And some younger talent will also be involved, like redshirt freshman JD Spielman and true freshman, Tyjon Lindsey.
