Former Nebraska walk-on offensive lineman Spencer Long has earned himself a starting spot at center for the Washington Redskins.

Long played the guard position for the Huskers, but has been working at center since week three of the 2016 season for the Redskins.

Long started as a walk-on for Nebraska in 2009 before becoming a starter in 2011. Long suffered a season-ending injury his senior season against Purdue before being drafted by the Redskins in the third round.
