Penn State dominates first half, cruises to win against Nebraska

Beginning with late in the first quarter leading 14-10, Penn State had four straight touchdown drives of 65 yards or more, while forcing Nebraska to punt four times in that same stretch. 

By the time the half ended, that Penn State lead was 42-10. By the time the game ended it was 56-44 and Penn State had improved to 9-2 by being the third team score more than 50 points against Nebraska this season. 

Saquon Barkley ran for three touchdowns in the first half and Trace McSorely threw for two and ran for another. Barkley finished the game with 158 yards on 17 carries, while McSorley was 24-for-36 for 325 yards and three touchdowns. 

Nebraska scored the first two touchdowns in the second half, one on a 24-yard touchdown run by Mikale Wilbon and the other on a 22-yard pitch and catch between Tanner Lee and De'Mornay Pierson-El. 

Lee threw for 399 yards and three touchdowns while Wilbon was NU's leading rusher with 53 yards on 10 carries. 

Nebraska's momentum was short-lived, Penn State scored the next 14 points, however with the game out of reach, the Huskers scored the final 20 points of the game.
