Creighton Prep repeated as state baseball champions beating Omaha Westside, 12-5 in Thursday's final.

Playing on its home turf due to weather, the Junior Jays got on the board early and often against the Warriors. Prep scored three runs in the top of the first inning and in the top of the second, junior Dylan Phillips slapped a two-run triple to extend the Junior Jays lead to 5-1.

Creighton Prep added on from there and Westside could never quite get anything going Friday afternoon, as the Junior Jays took home the state title for the second straight season.  It's also Creighton Prep's 11th state championship in school history.
