Audra Moore is a Nebraska native, born and raised in Columbus.
She has loved weather for as long as she can remember, especially thunderstorms and tornadoes, and "Twister" has always been one of her favorite movies.
Once she learned that people got to study and talk about the weather for a living, she knew it was what she wanted to do.
Audra graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology.
She completed internships in both Lincoln and Columbus before making the move to Omaha.
When not at work, Audra enjoys spending time reading, writing, playing video games, and binge-watching shows on Netflix. While she likes to hang out at home with her fianceé, her cats, Callie and Gracie, and her dog, Remi, she also likes to get out and explore Omaha, whether it be the many parks or the Old Market area.
