Danielle Meadows joined KMTV as a production assistant in October of 2018 and has worked her way up to the role of Real Time Editor/Digital Media Journalist.
She was born and raised in Boone, Iowa, where she caught the “news bug” as a kid and often preferred watching the news over cartoons.
After graduating high school in 2013, Danielle moved to the bigger city of Council Bluffs to attend Iowa Western Community College and eventually the University of Nebraska-Omaha where she received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media communications with a minor in creative writing.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys hanging out with friends, family, and her two cats, Theon and Maisy. She also likes playing guitar, singing, and writing songs or poetry. Danielle is most in her element when out in nature or at a concert or art exhibit.
Danielle’s interests translate over to her role at KMTV where she often does stories on arts and entertainment.
