I came to Omaha in June of 2013 and started my KMTV career as a morning reporter. I worked my way up to morning anchor and started that role in November of 2016.
I have absolutely loved my time in Omaha and want to thank the viewers for welcoming me into your homes each morning and for letting me share your stories. There are so many great stories in this community, from our amazing hospitals and their brilliant researchers to our vibrant refugee population, Omaha is truly a hidden gem.
While at KMTV I have won several awards, including the Thomas C. Sorenson award from the University of Nebraska for a three-part series on the club drug "Molly," and best feature for a story about the world's oldest pilot, Ernie Smith of Red Oak, Iowa. But, I think I am most proud of the genuine connections I have made. I thank you for allowing me to grow as a journalist here.
I named my dog "NE," so I will never forget the great state of Nebraska!
