Ron Johnson is very excited to join the 3 News Now team, Ron first came to KMTV in February 2022!
Ron is no stranger to the Midwest, he was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from the University of Central Missouri. His first TV job was also in Missouri as an MMJ and weekend anchor for KQTV in St. Joseph, Mo., before coming to Nebraska.
In his time in St. Joseph Ron has covered noteworthy news events, including the historic floods of 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl win in 2020, and the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to many local news events.
in his spare time, Ron enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies and TV, and exploring great places to eat!
Ron is very excited to be in the Omaha area and continue telling the important stories of the community.
