Snowy conditions caused trouble throughout Omaha once again Thursday morning, while a Winter Weather Advisory remained in effect until the evening.
There were not as many as school closings as there were Tuesday . However, Bellevue Public Schools and Red Oak Schools are closed . All other districts in the Metro are open but OPS buses may have delays . Sarpy County offices are closed as well. Plattsmouth Community Schools and St. John's were closing at 1:30 p.m. because of the adverse weather, but said POPS Place and the Blue Devil Academy would remain open.
Residential streets in Omaha remain an issue, however.
Near Midtown, a garbage truck could be seen struggling to go up a hill on a snow-covered road.

In Benson, one woman says the streets weren’t clear from snow and ice earlier in the week. The fresh snow is on top of a slippery mess.
Another band of snow is expected to move through the Omaha area later today, potentially impacting the evening commute.
