After three years of work, a masterpiece inside an unlikely place, is nearing completion.

Since 2014, local artist Zach Jones, 43, has been working on painting live size pictures inside a 143-person church in Malvern.

Before it was Project Art Church, the First Presbyterian Church in Malvern was built in the 1870s. The last service held in the church was in 1969. Jones bought it from the Malvern Historical Society in 2012, and created his project. The structure is 27 feet tall, with 30-by-46-foot walls.
