Investigators expect to know more details in a crash where a cement truck tipped over, crushing a car and killing two people in La Vista.

Chief Bob Lausten says the information is expected within the next 30 days. Investigators are analyzing technology on the cement truck, which was fully loaded at the time of the crash.

In the meantime, the emergency response team is debriefing about the crash.

Lausten says there was a "sense of helplessness from the response team" on scene. While fire fighters were ready to cut away metal from the crushed car to retrieve the victims and search for potential survivors, they couldn't do anything until the cement trailer was lifted.

The truck, weighed down with thousands of pounds of cement mix, took two large tow trucks with cranes to lift.
