The persons of interest in Sydney Loofe's death investigation are due back in court Thursday on unrelated charges.

Bailey Boswell and Aubrey Trail have been charged with taking stolen items across state lines in federal court in Lincoln.

The two came out with a series of Facebook videos proclaiming their innocence in her disappearance.

They're believed to have passed bad checks and swindled antique dealers and auction houses from the central plains to the east coast.

According to court records in several states, Trail has been convicted of writing bad checks  in two Nebraska counties, several counties across Iowa, South Dakota and Missouri. He has also been convicted on a number of fraud cases.

Right now, Trail also has a warrant for his arrest in Utah.

His roommate, Bailey Boswell, is in the middle of a court case on the East Coast. She is accused of unlawful taking, theft by deception, conspiracy, receiving stolen property and bad checks.
