After two days of speaking with investigators, Bailey Boswell and Aubrey Trail remain persons of interest in the investigation into Sydney Loofe's disappearance, according to the FBI.
Husten Pullen with the Omaha FBI office says the pair are not considered suspects.
"We have nothing to suggest otherwise," Pullen said.
Lincoln police said earlier this week they were looking for Boswell and Trail as part of their investigation. The two came out with a series of Facebook videos proclaiming their innocence in her disappearance before making contact with law enforcement Thursday.
They were held overnight at a jail in Missouri and transferred to the Saline County jail on Friday. According to law enforcement, the pair were expected to be held on unrelated warrants.
