OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — In a 3-0 vote, Angela Burmeister was selecxted to be District 3's representative on the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners on Friday.
She is currently the chair of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Legislation and Annual Meeting committees. Burmeister has represented District 4 on the Nebraska Supreme Court’s Unauthorized Practice of Law Commission since 2013.
The Sarpy County Attorney, County Clerk and County Treasurer served as the selection committee.
The District 3 seat opened when Brian Zuger resigned on January 2 to take on duties as the Sarpy County Treasurer.
