Five juveniles were apprehended Wednesday following a pursuit by the Lincoln Police Department and Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
According to a release, the pursuit began at 1:155 p.m. when Lincoln Police informed the State Patrol a suspected stolen Nissan Sentra was traveling east on I-80.
After the vehicle did not stop for troopers, it lead them passed mile marker 416 before exiting on exit 420 and heading toward Greenwood.
The vehicle was eventually stopped by spike strips and all five teens were taken into custody after they fled on foot.
The driver of the vehicle was cited for felony flight to avoid arrest and willful reckless driving. The others were released and an investigation is underway.
