A house fire in North Omaha that ignited Thursday morning is under control, according to the Omaha Fire Department. A large first responder presence could be seen at 33rd and Redick around 10:45 a.m.
Fire officials say the initial report called into 911 told dispatchers someone may have been trapped inside.
By the time firefighters arrived at the home, officials say all four adults in the home were out of the house and accounted for. One pet dog was missing but was later found.
The bulk of the fire was in the attic of the home's garage, but the house sustained smoke damage. Officials will determine if the house is still inhabitable. The fire was under control shortly after fire fighters arrived and no injuries were reported.
Investigators are working on determining the cause of the fire.
