Omaha Police officers are looking for a man in an attempted robbery case that took place at a Omaha gas station on Thursday evening.

At around 5:48 p.m., OPD officers responded to the QuikTrip in the 4700 block of Hamilton Street for an attempted robbery.

Witness told OPD that a black male entered the gas station, demanding money and then jumped over the counter.

Authorities say the man was unable to retrieve any money from the register then fled the store on foot.

OPD officials have identified the suspect as 25-year-old Kimani Houston, but they say no arrest has been made at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
