Below is the obituary for Williams:

"Gage Michael Lee Williams was born on July 13, 2001 to Michael and Julie (Meza) Williams in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was baptized at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Neola, Iowa, and later he became a member at the United Church of Christ in Minden, Iowa.

Gage was a Freshman at Tri Center Community School. He enjoyed running track, cross country, playing basketball and baseball. He was into art - enjoying drawing in particular. He was part of the infamous group called “the lunch room boys”, it seems without fail they got into trouble in the lunch room at the beginning of the school year. But, in each situation in which Gage found himself he always had plausible deniability! A couple of his famous sayings we will miss are “How do you know? And “Did you get that?”

Gage loved pets and it didn’t matter what kind - dogs, lizards, rabbits, or mice. He was a gamer—video games, solving puzzles, paint ball, brain games, and enjoyed the Brain Games Television show. He studied things and had a keen sense of knowing when something was out of place. He liked picking up any kind of book he could get his hands on, and listening to music. He liked being outdoors - deer hunting and camping, riding his Hover board, and playing street hockey with his rip stick. He enjoyed spending time with kids of any age, but he especially loved playing and entertaining his little cousins who looked up to him. He really enjoyed proving and being right!

Gage had a contagious smile, there wasn’t a soul that didn’t like him and he impacted many lives in his short years, He was considered a little brother to many and also a big brother to many others. He will leave a big hole in the hearts of his family, friends, teachers and community.

Gage was fourteen years, eight months and eight days old when he died on Monday, March 21, 2016 coming home from track practice. He was preceded in death by two uncles—Roach Meza and Jessie Meza.

Left to remember Gage are his mother Julie (Meza) Williams of Neola, IA; father Michael Williams of Neola, IA; brother Dylan Williams of Neola, IA; Grandmother Robin Stehr of Dow City, IA: Grandparents Dale and Nancy Williams of Dunlap, IA: Great Grandmother Virginia Little of Little Sioux, IA: Great Grandfather Robert Cobb of Davenport, IA; Aunt Rosella (Pete) Hamblen of Minden, IA; Uncles Rob (Beth) Williams of Manning, IA; and Dan Williams of Neola, IA; Cousins: Gracie Hamblen of Minden, IA; Taylor, Abby and Megan Williams of Manning, IA; Samara and Drake Meza of Shelby, IA and Danny Ray Williams of Neola, IA.
