With the final day of the Nebraska Boys State Basketball Tournament starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, fans are keeping their eye on the forecast.
"We're actually just watching this last game and got a text from a friend about maybe grabbing a hotel," said Rob Bringham of Wahoo.
Thousands of fans are converging on Lincoln for the Nebraska tournament tonight and Saturday. Many are reconsidering their travel plans with the forecasted snow of a couple inches in Lincoln overnight.
Tournament official Dr. Jim Tenopir, of the Nebraska State Activities Association, says they're monitoring the snowfall, but expect games to continue as planned tomorrow.
"We will go on even with the snow,” Tenopir said. “If there are schools that are commuting back and forth, we've been telling schools to make certain they have a plan either to leave early or to stay in town."
