OMAHA, Neb. — A winter weather advisory is currently in effect for the area until Sunday at 6am.
Snow is gradually expanding northeast as of 6pm, and will be widespread through Sunday morning.
Hit and miss snow will linger into the afternoon further north and east, where totals are expected to be the highest.
Total snow accumulations for the metro area are anticipated to be between 3 and 5 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible.
Snow-covered roads and reduced visibility are likely to cause travel difficulties. Be sure to use caution while driving and slow down.
