The Huskers did not have an ideal start to their Black Friday matchup with Iowa as they trail 20-3 at the end of the first half.

Three big plays for the Hawkeyes have busted things open early, including a 75-yard Akrum Wadley touchdown run and a 77-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Beathard. The run from Wadley and pass from Beathard are respectively the longest pass and run plays for Iowa all season long.

Tommy Armstrong Jr. got the start, but is dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. Armstrong has completed just seven of his 17 passes in the first half for 79 yards.

Nebraska is having issues getting the run game going as well as Newby has eight carries for just 32 yards. Jordan Westerkamp leads the Huskers in receiving with three catches for 34 yards.
