OMAHA (KMTV) — Mitch Ballock grew up in Eudora, Kansas just outside of Lawrence. So Tuesday's game at 5th ranked KU will be a homecoming of sorts for the Creighton senior guard.
Ballock was offered by Kansas coming out high school.
"I went to Creighton and I haven't had any regrets," said Ballock. "I've had an unbelievable experience."
"He's about winning," said CU head coach Greg McDermott. "He's about impacting winning. We've been blessed to have him here. He's done a lot for this program in the 3 plus years that he's been here. To be able to go back to Allen Fieldhouse is certainly going to be special to him."
The 8th ranked Bluejays and the 5th ranked Jayhawks meet at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in Lawrence on ESPN.
