At least one crash is causing traffic to slow dramatically on southern Nebraska roadways following the solar eclipse.

Emergency crews could be seen using the jaws of life to extricate at least one person from a crashed vehicle at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway 136 near Brownville.

Another vehicle with damage was spotted on Highway 67 south of the crash about 20 minutes earlier.

The solar eclipse drew visitors from all over the country to Falls City. Many tourists travelled to the area from Omaha, which has lead to a significant increase in vehicle traffic.

Both Highway 67 and Highway 136 are stop-and-go in the area.
