More than a dozen state agencies coordinated their plans for the eclipse more than a year in advance to make sure everyone was safe in the state of Nebraska.

The agencies, which included the State Patrol and NEMA, were at a master control site in Lincoln monitoring traffic throughout the day.

Officials say there were a few early crashes, but none occurred during the eclipse itself.
