Luis Alvarado had the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 9th to give Nebraska a 7-6 walk-off victory over Rutgers on Sunday at Haymarket Park.
Alvarado's hit scored Scott Schreiber & moved NU to 29-16-1 overall and 12-5-1 in the Big Ten. Thanks to the win & a Maryland loss, the Huskers are now in first place in the conference standings.
Nebraska is back in action Wednesday at TD Ameritrade Park against Creighton. First pitch is scheduled just after 7 p.m.
