One Today
This app showcases different non-profits to donate to make a difference like feeding three full meals to kids in Haiti or removing plastic from the ocean. All you do is pick a cause and decide how much to donate.
Give To Charity
All you have to do is take a simple survey. Answering will you give you points to redeem. You can redeem these points for donations to the charity of your choice.
Charity Miles
You choose from about 40 different non-profits you want to donate to. The app then tracks how long you run or bike for. The app will donate 10 cents for every mile you bike and 25 cents for every mile you run.
There are ones that can make an impact locally.
Walk for a Dog
You pick a local animal shelter or animal organization. Enter in your dog's name, age and gender. Then you can start walking your dog. If you don't have a dog yet, but still want to participate there's always a dog at a local shelter you can start walking with. You earn money based on how far you and your dog walk.
Another way to pay it forward this holiday season can be doing something as simple as paying for the order of the car behind you in a drive-thru. Friday morning 15 cars did just that at the Scooter's on 108th and L. Store manager, Becca Flores says the kindness is never expected by the customer. "They're usually pretty shocked and they are just like why on earth would they do that for me," she said.
