OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The first snow day of the year created a fun Saturday for many around the Omaha Metro.
Especially because residential and main roadways seemed to clear quickly. For some snow means a day full of play, for others it's just another day on the job.
Trooper Miguel Del Toral said troopers are usually needed in some specific parts of the Omaha metro. And while some snow days can be busier than others, he's always glad to do his part. "There's gonna be accidents, there's gonna be people stranded on the interstate so that's our priority and main concern is to go out and help those who need us," said Del Toral.
