Meth, marijuana seized on I-80 in separate busts

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrested three people in two days for drug related crimes on I-80. 

On Wednesday, a deputy became suspicion of illegal activity during a traffic stop. According to a release, a K9 searched the vehicle and found three bags of methamphetamine and three packages of fentanyl. Michael Snyder, 30, and Liane Ellsworth, 32, were both arrested for intent to distribute methamphetamine and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. 

On Thursday, 53-year-old Raymond Hulings was arrested for intent to distribute marijuana, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a controlled substance (hash). Hulings had 22 pounds of marijuana, 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 62 grams of suspected hash when he was pulled over, according to the Sheriff's Office.
