OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Today, Don Bacon took an aerial tour with a Millard-based disaster response team that carries out operations nationwide.
The Civil Air Patrol Unit (CAP) gave Bacon a tour of areas damaged by recent flooding as well as their base of operations.
Bacon says the Nebraska CAP team carried out 37 missions during the recent floods and is made up of volunteer members aged 12 and over. They are an auxiliary arm of the U.S. Air Force.
