Disaster Recovery Center opens in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Iowa. — Those in Harrison and Monona counties affected by recent flooding can now visit a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), providing survivors information that is critical for recovery.

DRCs are one-stop locations providing a place for homeowners, renters and business owners who sustained damage from severe flooding in the area.

Recovery specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and other state and federal agencies will be there explaining assistance programs and information on services available.

Specialists will also help survivors register for federal disaster assistance and help check the status of their aid applications.

Open Monday - Saturday
9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Open Sunday
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The DRC is closed for Easter.
