OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Mills County Emergency Management Agency says a bottled water advisory is effective immediately. People living in Malvern, especially infants, should not drink or eat food prepared with well or city water due to a well failure.
Officials say the advisory is in effect because high levels of nitrates have been found in the city's water supply. They say it can still be used for activities other than cooking/eating and that boiling water will only intensify present nitrates.
The advisory is in effect until further notice.
