PACIFIC JUNCTION, Iowa (KMTV) — The Mandatory Evacuation Order of Pacific Junction has been released.
Residents and owners in the area are now able to return to their property to determine the viability of the premises. Access to the city will continue to remain a single entry at the South entrance from 195th Street.
Assessment teams have completed hazard assessments on all structures in the community. These are only initial assessments and do not constitute inspections.
Street lights are restored in most areas of the community, however no electricity has been restored to homes.
Residents are reminded to use caution when assessing and cleaning up their properties.
