OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Plattsmouth residents will be asked to watch their water usage for the next several months.
City leaders are trying to make sure people have enough water, and tell our partners at the Omaha World-Herald that the struggle could last six to nine months.
Floods knocked out the city's water treatment. The city says the water is too low to get there by boat, but too high to get there by truck.
For now, there's a city ban on filling private pools, washing cars, and watering lawns.
