OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The United States Postal Service has deployed two additional mobile post offices to flood ravaged communities.
A mobile post office can offer all of the same retail services a brick-and-mortar post office can. In addition to retail services, the mobile post offices will provide post office box service for those who had ben receiving their mail at a box at one of the impacted offices.
The Hamburg, Iowa mobile post office opened today and will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on weekdays and Saturdays from 9-11 a.m. The office will be located at 308 F St, Hamburg, Iowa.
The North Bend mobile post office also opened today and is located at 134 W 7th Street. This office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 9-10 a.m. on Saturdays.
