Cutting injures two at 24th and Ohio St

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police responded to a cutting at 24th and Ohio St early Saturday that sent two to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A fight took place in the area at 2:25 a.m. when officers intervened, deployed a taser and took 34-year-old suspect Joe Arias into custody.

Officers found 26-year-old Jelisa Arias discarding a bloody knife. She was also detained.

Police located two victims with multiple stab wounds, identified as 33-year-old Jerron Garrison and 36-year-old Tracy James.

Both were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Jelisa Arias was booked at Douglas County Corrections for two counts of Felony Assault. Joseph Arias was booked for Misdemeanor Assault.
