OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Former U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was the keynote speaker at the First Responders Foundation luncheon on Wednesday at the Hilton in downtown Omaha.
Hagel talked about how much has changed in the U.S. in the 18 years since that tragic day.
Mayor Jean Stothert, former mayor Mike Fahey, among others, were also recognized for their support for first responders.
